JOB DESCRIPTION

We at Gymnasieskolan Knut Hahn are looking for an engaged vocational teacher for the industrial technology program with a focus on Welding Technology or Operational Safety and Maintenance.

As a vocational teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the teaching in close collaboration with colleagues and industry contacts. You will teach theoretical and practical components in our workshop. The emphasis will be on workshop teaching within Operational Safety and Maintenance or Welding Technology, as well as theoretical lessons in the courses included in each focus area. The courses you teach may vary over time as course placements can change to match the labor market's need for skills and to follow changes from the National Agency for Education's recommendations and our timetable arrangements.

The education is characterized by high flexibility and individualization. We continuously work on quality assurance of all teaching.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with documented experience in industrial technology and industrial production, knowledge of joining techniques and reading technical drawings. You also need to have current knowledge in welding, cutting, and assembly. Welding certification is an advantage. We want you to demonstrate pedagogical versatility and have a desire to create safe learning environments where students' opportunities to succeed are in focus.

We require good collaboration skills, and we place great importance on personal suitability for the position in our assessment.
